STAN 
The Bridge Academy, Hackney 

A creative response to Francis Alys Re-enactments (2000). Working with a group of students with Special Educational Needs to support their social interaction skills. Students were tasked with caring for a plant for two weeks in school and at home, over the course of the project ‘Stan’ allowed students to access parts of the school were usually unable to, interact with people they didn’t previously know, make new friends and learn about what a plant like Stan needs to be healthy.
