Stormont House Special School

A project over 12 weeks exploring collaboration, contemporay art history and meditation. Each session began with a short meditation with students imagining a landscape and reflecting on what they could see, feel, smell, hear and touch in their mind’s eye. These reflections where then turned into works informed by contemporary artists with students exploring a range of techniques from Impressionist colour theories to digital painting.  The project culminated with new works on found wood using expanded painting techniques and when displayed create an every-changing collaborative landscape in the school corridors.
