De La Warr Pavilion and Heart of Sidley, July/August 2023

A week long project with 30 children aged 8-12 exploring the local area and mapping where we are, where we’d like to be, how would we improve it all and everything in between! 
The project culminated in the making of a series of flags that mimiced beach safety flags to highlight their ideas, these were placed in and around the local area by the children independantly and also formed the premis for a workshop at Sidley community festival where the idea was translated to over 200 participants and their families.
